1. Training Mock-Up Missile: Thunderbird I
The Paris peace treaty, formed in the year 1947, denied Finland from using any guided weaponry. Later in the year 1963 the treaty was changed so that only defensive missiles were allowed. In the year 1968, a missile training unit was purchased from England. The missile contained no explosive material. Training courses were later orginized for military professionals. UA

2. Medium Range Missile: SAM 79
The purchase agreement of the Petshora missile system was created in the beginning of 1979. The Helsinki Anti-Aircraft Regiment was the first to obtain the missile system in October of 1980. They were first fired at the Lohtaja firing range in 1982 and successfully destroyed two targets. The maximum speed of the 6 meter missile is Mach 2,5 (825 meters per second) and the effective range is 25km. UA, NH1

3. Shoulder Launched Missile: SAM 78
The Finnish Anti-Aircraft Artillery moved to the missile era on February 22nd 1979 at 1:32 PM and at the time the Strela missile was fired at the Lohtaja military firing range. The Soviet model missile was fired from at the shoulder and performed best at low altitude targets. Later on the 86 "Igla" model was obtained, which has an improved guidance system. NH1
